Yes, I know. It’s Monday, not Friday. But that’s just how last week went OKKKK. We had 3 different visitors in one week, I was hired for a freelance gig with a tight timeline, a family member having surgery, and all of life’s other idiosyncrasies. Honestly, I’m the happiest and most energized when life is busy and hectic so I’m feeling good. With the good comes the bad of more sad news in the world today, and a shocking incident with our dog. The universe does a good job of keeping you humble and is showing that to be very true today. But, tomorrow is a new day and can only hope for better news to come! With that, below are some of my ‘Feature Fridays’ on a Monday lol…
The 5 things I bought from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Every year it’s a toss up between which pieces I want to buy because of the price tag and which I actually need. I mean, I don’t need any of them but some are more exciting than others. So…this is what I narrowed down to this year!
Set of 3 Le Labo Santal candles. These are usually $75 a piece, ridiculous I know but if you know Santal- this scent is sexy, amazing, and worth every $. Definitely a splurge, but I am on board with whatever voodoo magic Le Labo is doing.
If there is any time to buy a chunky cozy Free People sweater, it is during the Anniversary Sale. Looks so comfy, makes me PUMPED for Fall.
THE HOLY GRAIL OF ALL BRAS. I absolutely love these Natori bras. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Ordered 2 colors at this price of $39!!
I’ve been on the hunt for a fashionable, but comfortable black sneaker. Think these may be it.
I’ve had my eye on these Caviar eyeshadow sticks from Laura Mercier for awhile. Influenced by Emily Schuman of course! Was excited to find this 3 pack of a variety of colors and try them out.
PODCAST FEATURE
All I’ll say is this- the first episode is her and President Obama and my heart was BURSTING. If you like (and miss) the Obama’s like myself- this is an absolute must listen. There is also something so relaxing about Michelle Obama’s voice.
BRAND FEATURE
I want every single dress from Christy Dawn. They are SO beautiful and their slogan is ‘honoring mother earth.’ I’ve been on the hunt for more sustainable clothing brands and really love everything about this one. I think I’m going to splurge on a nice Summer dress!
BEAUTY FEATURE
I love the scent of Moroccan Oil products and their texture spray does not disappoint. You know when you style your hair and its almost too clean? This is the perfect solution. Sexy beach waves done and done.
HOME FEATURE
I had a friend over the other night who kept asking how I made our house smell so good lol. I was shocked because I was burning a candle I recently got at Target, that is clearly very underrated. It smells citrusy and fresh and is a new favorite. Chip and Joanna at it again!
