We have peaked into the BEST time of the year y’all!!! Sleeping with the windows open, swimming in the lake, a 9 p.m sunset, burgers on the grill, and the sweet smell of sunscreen! Swimsuits can be tough with a lot of trial and error-which is why I prefer to shop online, try on in the comfort of my home, and ship back the rejects. When you DO find a suit you love, it’s the best! You feel good in your skin and get excited to break out every summer. With that said, I wanted to share a roundup of my favorite one pieces, bikinis, and swim accessories for this summer below! In general you will notice- I am all about high/low shopping. Love a good H&M purchase, but will also invest in a great piece that I love- especially swimsuits.
To start, I wanted to call out my go-to brands for swim that I search first thing each summer season:
Solid & Striped. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. I LOVE these suits. They have some signature styles that come back each year with new and fun prints. Once you find a few styles that fit you well, you’ll want every color. I have some S&S suits that are 3-4 years old and still holding up well. AND They’re running 25% off sitewide for 4th of July weekend right now!
Revolve. Not only does Revolve carry some of my favorite swim brands (L Space, Beach Riot, Onia, S&S) they also now carry a lot of their own brands that are relatively affordable and also very on trend.
H&M is quickly becoming my favorite go-to for trend forward, super affordable, fast fashion pieces. They have some great suits and easy Summer dresses this season. BIG fan, specifically for online shopping (much better than in-store selection.)
Monday Swimwear is a great site for curves, big butts, big boobs, love handles, and all the awesome things that a REAL body has. I feel like I used to pay so much attention to the size swimsuit I was ordering and get down on myself if it didn’t fit the way I liked. I am SO thankful for brands like Monday Swimwear and Summersalt encouraging body positivity and feeling good about your curves while in a swimsuit.
Summersalt. I got my first Summersalt suit last Summer and it may be my most comfortable swimsuit ever. They look amazing on a wide variety of body types and are making the one piece cooler than ever. I love their marketing and everything about their brand. Also very affordable! Check out this brand if you haven’t yet!
Alright, let’s dive into my Summer 2020 swim picks. If we can’t go anywhere, at least we can put on a cute suit and hit the local beach, pool, or kiddie pool in your backyard!
